Each staff login runs its own register session. While it is open you see what the session has sold and what should be in the drawer; when you close, storeVero shows the difference.

  • Start every session with your opening cash float
  • Live session sales, order count and expected cash in the drawer
  • Count the drawer at close and see the cash difference straight away
  • Look back at earlier sessions with their orders, cash and card takings

One set of books

Counter sales land where your online orders are

A sale at the register becomes a normal paid order, tagged with the POS channel. There is no second system to reconcile at the end of the month.

  • Each sale is saved as a paid order numbered POS-… in your Orders list
  • The order timeline notes who rang it up and how it was paid
  • Stock comes off the same count your online store sells from
  • POS shows up as its own channel in your sales reports
  • Refund items from the order page, with restock
